Every Player Receives:

The Player Journey

ECNL and MLS Next players already train a lot.

Practices. Games. Lifts. Travel.

But club soccer is designed to prepare the team - not the individual player.

Most serious players know they need more focused work.
They just don’t have a clear system for how to structure it so it actually moves their development forward.

That’s where this journey begins.

  • Chapter 1 — Baseline: Knowing Exactly Where You Are

We start with a full baseline test.

This shows us exactly where the player is physically and technically, so the extra work isn’t random - it’s targeted.

    No guessing. No generic drills.

This is where purposeful development starts.

  • Chapter 2 — A Plan Built Around the Player’s Real Schedule

Using their baseline, position, schedule, and goals, we build a plan that fits around their real life.

Every part of the extra work ties back to what they’re trying to improve and where they’re trying to go.

  • Chapter 3 — Goal Clarity & The Initial Development Meeting

Before the first meeting, the player completes their goal sheet.

In the Initial Development Meeting, we connect:

Their goals, their current level, their plan

    Ownership begins here.

  • Chapter 4 — Weekly Check-Ins & Mentorship

Every week, we connect with the player to review how training is going, talk through challenges, and adjust what needs to change.

We guide them, answer questions, and help them think through their development - so they’re never figuring it out alone.

  • Chapter 5 — Parent Alignment

Parents receive monthly updates so they can clearly see:

What their athlete is working on, how development is progressing, how to best support them

    Everyone is aligned.

  • Chapter 6 — Plan Evolution Through the Season

As the season changes, the plan changes with it.

We adjust the extra work around games, training load, and recovery — so the player can stay consistent with the habits that drive real development all year.

What This Creates

A player who no longer wonders: “What should I be doing to get better?”

They know. And they do it every week.

That’s the difference between players who hope they’re ready for college soccer…

…and players who are.
